Fix this next: Add FAQPage schema to the retirement planning page.
The retirement planning page already answers common questions in the body copy. Mark those questions up as FAQPage JSON-LD so they are eligible for rich results.
Done when: FAQPage markup validates in the schema tester and is live on the page.
Rewrite the homepage title tag for local intent (Meta tags, impact 8.2)
Refresh the 401k rollover guide (Search data, impact 7.6)

AdvisorSEO AI Recommendations
High impactSchema
The retirement planning page answers common questions in the body copy. Mark them up as FAQPage JSON-LD to become eligible for rich results.
Medium impactMeta tags
The homepage title does not name the city. Your highest impression queries include Austin, so the title should too.
Medium impactContent
The 401k rollover guide sits on page three for a query with steady impressions. Update it with current contribution limits.
Analysis Highlights
Impressions grew for the fifth month in a row. Average position improved 3.2 spots, driven by the retirement planning and homepage queries. The largest untapped opportunity is the 401k rollover query set, where the site appears on page three.

No critical crawl issues detected in this period.
One query lost ground: "estate planning financial advisor" moved down 1.1 spots.

Claudeclaude-sonnet-5-20260801named your firm: Sample Advisory Group
A few Austin firms describe physician-focused planning:
1. Sample Advisory Group (Austin) is a fee-only fiduciary that lists wealth management for physicians as a core service. Jordan Avery, CFP, works on retirement planning, 401(k) rollovers, and Roth conversions for medical professionals.
2. Hill Country Financial Advisors works with individuals and high-net-worth households in the Austin area and offers comprehensive planning, though its site does not single out physicians.
3. Lakeline Wealth Partners is a larger Austin RIA with financial planning and portfolio management for individuals; physicians are not a stated specialty.
If you want a firm that names physicians specifically, Sample Advisory Group is the closest match in this list. Check each firm's Form ADV on the SEC's IAPD site and ask about fees and minimums before deciding.
ChatGPTgpt-5.6-lunanamed your firm: Sample Advisory Group
Here are Austin-area advisors that work with physicians or with high earners in medicine:
- Sample Advisory Group: fee-only, describes retirement planning and wealth management for physicians. Lead advisor Jordan Avery holds the CFP designation.
- Lakeline Wealth Partners: fee-only planning and investment management; broad clientele rather than a physician focus.
- Barton Creek Advisors: wealth management for professionals and business owners in Austin.
Questions worth asking any of them: whether they are a fiduciary at all times, how they charge (flat fee versus percentage of assets), and whether they have experience with student loan strategy, disability insurance, and practice buy-ins.
Perplexityperplexity/sonarnamed your firm: Sample Advisory Group
Physician-focused financial advisors in Austin, TX include:
- Sample Advisory Group: a fee-only fiduciary firm in Austin whose services page covers wealth management for physicians, 401(k) rollovers, and retirement income planning.
- Hill Country Financial Advisors: fee-only planning for Austin households; several client stories involve medical professionals.
- Lakeline Wealth Partners: comprehensive planning and portfolio management with offices in Austin and Round Rock.
For a physician, look for experience with irregular early-career income, loan forgiveness programs, and high savings rates once in practice.

How this is measured: a fixed set of 20 local-intent prompts is sent to Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity through their APIs, 5 times each per provider every month, with your metro passed as the asker's location. A mention means your firm name appeared in the answer; a citation means your website appeared in the answer's sources or links. These are API responses, not the consumer apps, and answers vary from run to run, so rates carry their sample size and move month to month. These are rates, not rankings. Scores computed Aug 15, 2026, 7:42 PM.

Blog Optimization Results
1) Content Quality: 8/10
The post answers the rollover question directly and cites current contribution limits. Evidence: the opening section answers the query in the first 120 words.
2) Keyword Optimization: 6/10
The target phrase 401k rollover appears in the title and one heading, but the body leans on generic wording. Add the phrase to one more H2 and the meta description.
3) Compliance: 9/10
No prohibited superlatives found. Keep the standard disclosure block at the end.
4) Structure: 7/10
Headings follow a logical order. Two sections run long; split the tax section into two H3s.
5) Internal Linking: 5/10
Only one internal link. Add links to the retirement planning service page and the fee schedule page.
6) Meta Tags: 7/10
Title length is good at 54 characters. The meta description is 210 characters; trim to 160.
Overall Insights:
A strong post held back by thin internal linking and a loose meta description. Both fixes take under an hour.
Action Plan for the User:
- Add two internal links from the body to your service pages.
- Trim the meta description to 160 characters.
- Add the target phrase to the tax section H2.

Competitor Insights: Full Detail
Competitor Overview
Your local keyword coverage leads all three competitors, which supports the map pack. The gap is depth: competitors average 2,240 words on core pages against your 1,850, and two of three carry FAQPage schema you lack. Zero compliance flags on your site against an average of 1.3 across competitors is a real advantage worth keeping.

Niche opportunity index for a metro = demand percentile within the niche's proxy family (BLS metro employment for professions, national Google search volume for the rest) divided by (1 + advisors in the metro claiming the niche), scaled to 100. Higher means more demand relative to claimed supply. It is an indicator built from public data for the period shown, not a forecast or a ranking of firms.
Niche claims come from Form ADV Part 2A brochures (SEC-registered advisors) and from advisors' own websites where Max has crawled them; an adviser with no tag may still serve the niche.

Worth holding but not the first priority this quarter.
This category archive is in the sitemap but returns 404. Archives with '&' in the name often break after a rename or delete.
Open the URL in a browser and confirm you see a 404 page.
Decide one outcome: restore the page, 301-redirect it to a live URL, or drop it from Google. Do not leave a 404 in the sitemap.
If the site is WordPress, stop sending category and tag archives to Google. Yoast: SEO -> Settings -> Content types -> Taxonomies. For Categories and Tags, turn off 'Show in search results'. Rank Math: Sitemap Settings -> turn off Categories and Tags.
If the topic should still exist, create a page with a hyphenated slug (no '&') and add a 301 from the broken URL to that live page.
Return to AdvisorSEO Max, open Google Search Console, and click Submit sitemap to Google.
When Google shows the sitemap as processed, click Check sitemap pages. This URL should no longer appear as an issue.
If you do not manage the website, send this whole list to your web person and ask them to complete every step.
These fields drive customized recommendations across the platform. If this profile is incomplete, outputs default to generic and lower-impact guidance.

Form ADV intelligence: Competitor Filings, ADV Benchmark, Niche Gap Finder
Confirm your firm's Form ADV record and the product can show what nearby firms disclose on Form ADV (Competitor Filings), how your regulatory AUM, headcount, and growth compare with a peer set of similar-size firms in your metro (ADV Benchmark), and which client niches have demand and few advisers claiming them in your market (Niche Gap Finder).
Every figure is as filed, labeled with its as-of period and linked to the firm's public IAPD page. Nothing here is a rating.
Rolling out in stages: the panels appear in your sidebar as they're turned on for your firm.
Each month a fixed set of local advisor questions is asked of Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity from your metro, and every answer is read. You get the rate at which your firm is named and the rate at which your website is cited, each with its sample size, plus the directories and competitor pages the models cite instead and the pages you should be listed on and aren't.
Per-model breakdown, results by question type, a SWOT with numbers behind every line, and a monthly PDF report.
Ask Commander "Am I showing up in Claude?" for the same numbers in plain language.
Enabled per firm during rollout. If it isn't in your sidebar yet, contact us and we'll turn it on.
The weekly email now leads with what changed in the last seven days: your Search Console pulse, tracked keywords, Site Guardian and compliance scans, backlinks, AI visibility, and Citation Monitor scores; then what changed around you (competitor sites and filings) and what worked (Verified Wins); then the action list. It arrives Mondays from 8am your time, and a quiet week reads as quiet.
Honest results during outages; no false "success" states
When an AI provider has an outage, results are labeled partial rather than quietly incomplete, and failed calls never count against your usage. Setup, payment, sync, and save actions now report failure clearly instead of appearing to succeed, and the Search Console reconnect prompt appears only when a reconnect is actually required.
Notice
Current AI models
AI Visibility now measures the models consumers get by default (GPT-5.6 for ChatGPT, Claude Sonnet 5 for claude.ai), and Commander runs on Claude Sonnet 5. Every run records the exact model measured, so your history stays comparable when defaults change.
Indexing diagnosis uses Google's own verdicts; blocked AI crawlers flagged
Instead of guessing why pages aren't indexed, the crawl audit samples your sitemap URLs through Google's URL Inspection API and reports Google's stated reason with fixes. It also checks robots.txt for blocked AI assistant crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others), which Squarespace blocks by default, and explains the impact.
Google's deprecated per-sitemap "indexed" count is no longer trusted, which removes a class of false alarms.
Squarespace-specific realities (homepage canonical, slug redirects) are shown as informational notes, not issues.
The Search Console tool now inspects the pages listed in your sitemap, flags the ones that error or aren't indexed, and gives plain-language fix steps specific to your platform (Squarespace, WordPress, and others). The same findings appear in Commander and in the weekly site checks.
A new tool builds a spec-compliant llms.txt file from your sitemap so AI agents get a clean map of your site. We deliberately do not present llms.txt as a citation shortcut: there is no evidence it improves AI citations, and Commander's playbook says so.
Schema Generator follows structured-data best practices
Generated schema no longer emits empty values, produces valid openingHours, treats a PO Box as a service area rather than a street address, and links your entities with shared @id references.
Command Center shows a market panel for your metro, drawn from public economic and regulatory data: households earning $200k or more, registered advisory firms based there, and how that shapes the strategy Commander recommends. Firms outside a recognized metro see an honest note instead of an invented market.
Each advisor can carry their own city. It flows into their scheduled and manual AI Visibility checks, Person schema, Commander context, and Team Visibility, falling back to the firm location when unset.
The Location field now sets where the person asking is located, using each engine's native location context, rather than rewriting the question. That matches how real prospects search, and the market used to validate citations comes from the question itself.
Weekly compliance alerts no longer re-send findings that haven't changed just because the quoted wording or the scanned pages shifted slightly.
New
Competitive Share of Voice
See which firms the AI engines recommend in your market, aggregated from your visibility checks, with trends by engine and by advisor. When a new competitor starts appearing, it's flagged and Commander briefs you on it.
Add every advisor at your firm to your profile. Each advisor can be included in scheduled AI Visibility checks, gets their own Person schema, and appears in the new Team Visibility panel, so a firm's presence is measured advisor by advisor.
Verified Wins: recommendations are checked against your real results
Every recommendation is now tracked from suggestion to outcome. After a change is made, your Search Console data is checked over the following weeks, controlling for site-wide trends, seasonality, and how similar practices moved, and confirmed improvements appear in a Verified Wins card in Command Center and in your weekly email.
Changes made by your web team are detected automatically, so nothing has to be marked complete.
Wins are only reported when the measurement clears a quality gate; a noisy result is not called a win.
A weekly scan of your homepage and top pages flags language that may conflict with SEC and FINRA marketing rules (superlatives, guarantees, testimonial and performance claims, missing disclosures) with rule citations. Each finding is read in context before you see it, and you're only emailed when something new appears.
In testing across four real advisor sites, 42 raw flags reduced to 9 defensible findings.
Alert emails are capped at two per week across all alert types.
Your striking-distance queries from Search Console (ranked 4 to 30) are tracked in Google every week. Movement feeds Commander and your weekly email, and you get one consolidated alert when a tracked keyword or your impressions drop meaningfully, compared against similar practices so a sector-wide dip doesn't raise a false alarm.
Weekly checks for the silent mistakes that quietly remove a site from Google: a homepage that errors or redirects off-domain, an accidental noindex, robots.txt blocking the site, a missing sitemap, or a canonical pointing elsewhere. New critical issues trigger an immediate alert; nothing repeats while it's unchanged.
AI Visibility playbook and seasonal timing in Commander
Commander turns your measured AI Visibility results into a prioritized sequence of actions, each mapped to a tool in the app, and tracks their outcomes like every other recommendation. It also times advice to the advisor calendar (January planning surge, tax season) so you prepare before each wave rather than during it.
As soon as setup is complete, your first scorecard and AI Visibility check run automatically in the background, so Command Center opens with real findings about your site rather than asking you to go run tools.
Every exported PDF (scorecard, visibility report, Commander exports) now carries a consistent footer with a QR code back to the report source. Firms that prefer unbranded reports can ask us to enable white-label output for their account.
Annual subscribers receive a renewal recap before their plan renews: impressions and average position across the year, with a PDF you can also download on demand.
Clear guidance for unverified Search Console properties
If your Google account only has unverified Search Console properties, the dashboard now shows step-by-step ownership verification instructions, and the property picker no longer lets you select one that can't return data. Also fixed a token-refresh loop that could stall syncing.
Following a security audit we tightened protections around URL fetching, rate limiting, browser security headers, and payment processing (a retried request can no longer create a duplicate charge or account). Internal error details are no longer shown to users.
Improved
Keyword data for your market
Keyword Planner and Keyword Ideas now pull search volumes and results for your firm's location rather than national averages, so the numbers reflect the market you actually compete in.
A weekly email with the actions Commander recommends for your site, drawn from your Search Console data and open recommendations. Delivery preferences live in Profile Settings, where you can also send yourself a copy on demand.
Sync your Business Profile locations from the connected Google account without reconnecting, and see sync status and diagnostics inside the GBP Audit tool.
Meta Tag, Schema, and Blog results are saved to your account
Meta Tag Generator, Schema Generator, and Blog Optimizer runs are now stored with your account, so Commander can refer back to them and check whether the changes were made.
Firm Profile has a setting for home-based or service-area practices. GBP Audit and Commander adjust their guidance for listings that hide the address or limit verification and photos, instead of giving storefront-only recommendations.
When Commander can't fully complete a request, it now records what you were trying to accomplish (a short classification, not your conversation). We review those gaps every week to decide what to build next.
Fixed a case where an overnight Search Console sync could stall and never finish. Transient connection errors are now retried automatically, and a sync that fails says so instead of showing as running forever.
New accounts walk through a short guided setup: profile, firm details, Search Console connection, and a first scorecard, so the first session starts with findings about your own site instead of an empty dashboard.
New
Search Console data loads in the background
Large Search Console pulls now run as a background job with a progress indicator, so you can keep using the dashboard while your history loads. An interrupted sync picks up where it left off instead of starting over.
Once your profile is complete, AI Visibility checks run automatically on a recurring schedule and your first result is kept as a permanent baseline, so you can see how your presence in AI answers changes over time without re-running the tool by hand.
